About Susan Ripley

A Little More about Me ...

Hey there! I’m Susan Ripley—a design leader passionate about creating user experiences that are not only seamless but maybe even a little magical. With over 20 years in design and research and eight years leading creative teams, I’ve had the privilege of guiding talented teams through the ups, downs, and everything in between. My favorite part? Turning bold ideas into meaningful solutions that make users’ lives easier and more enjoyable.

I consider myself a player/coach—I love rolling up my sleeves to collaborate on designs, brainstorm innovative concepts, and solve complex problems right alongside my team. I believe the best ideas come from fostering a culture of trust, curiosity, and open collaboration. My goal is to create an environment where creativity thrives, mistakes are seen as learning opportunities, and bold thinking drives impactful results.

For me, great design is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about solving real problems and building meaningful connections with people. Whether I’m aligning design strategies with business goals or mentoring a team member to reach their potential, I’m driven by the belief that thoughtful design can create lasting impact for both users and businesses.

Originally from the snowy streets of Erie, PA, I now call Atlanta, GA home. Outside of design, you can find me out in the garden, exploring hiking trails, sewing up creative projects, kayaking, or getting a little too competitive over board games. Oh, and I’m a proud first-generation college grad, which has taught me the value of resilience, grit, and forging your own path.
