Hey, everyone! Last year kicked off my whirlwind journey as a seasoned 40-something, plunging into the virtual realm to pursue my master's degree. Yes, you heard it right—virtual classes, online discussions, all while comfortably at home, and still juggling a full-time job.
It had been more than two decades since I completed my bachelor's degree. When I embarked on this journey, my boys were in college themselves. They couldn't help but find it both awesome and amusing to watch me rediscover my academic groove.
After my first semester, I'm thrilled to report that my excitement has only grown. Starting with a class on effective communication, I've challenged myself to create this blog and share insights from class, work, and home.
Returning for a master's in my 40s is all about proving that curiosity knows no age. Life experience becomes a valuable asset, and the thrill of learning remains as vibrant as ever. So here's to late-night readings, virtual high-fives, and embracing the unexpected in this midlife academic adventure—all from the comfort of home! 🚀📚
